Some seriously soul-inspired music is happening via the homeland of Nicole Jamrose…Dyer, Indiana. Because of Nicole’s diverse musical background, she has developed an eclectic style including influences of folk, blues, country, and rock-n-roll! Jamrose got her start in her first band, Davis Farm. Her first musical quest led her to some international touring, playing local-based venues throughout the Los Angeles area and Southern California such as: The Roxy, Club Lingerie, The Troubadour, and The Roxbury; opening for Abraxis, the original Santana Band with Neil Shaun from Journey on guitar, performing a sold-out industry showcase for Geffen records, and even playing at Axl Rose's Halloween party! A pending record-deal and band-break-up later, she and her guitar hit the road, ending up in Boulder, Colorado bringing you the band now known as Jamrose.

Nicole Jamrose, lead singer and guitarist, songwriter and founding member of the band, first put Jamrose together in 1997 in Colorado. Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with international acts such as Victor Wooten, bass virtuoso of Bella Fleck and the Flecktones, Phil Vassar, Miranda Lambert, Clint Black, Lonestar, and Aaron Tippin. Nicole’s most recent accomplishment was in 2006 . She beat out over 20,000 contestants to earn one of the 10 coveted spots on the fourth-season of the USA cable-network television show: “Nashville Star”. Jamrose won the leading spot as the last-standing female contestant. She placed third in the competition due to a viewer voting base of over 2 million and earned a spot on the 2006 Nashville Star Tour.

Another musical venture led Nicole, along with two other prominent local female musicians, to coordinate a concert series in Colorado in 1998 called "Women From Mars". The concert series was a rotating group of performers consisting of all female musicians and female led bands. The concert series achieved much success on the Boulder scene and still exists today. As a result of the collaboration, a "Women From Mars" compilation C.D. was produced. Part of the proceeds from the album sales went towards charity, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the American Cancer Society.

Nicole Jamrose now resides in Northwest Indiana and continues to pursue her musical career. She can be found at local music venues around Northwest Indiana and the Chicago Land area. Nicole was voted Favorite Local Female Vocalist by the Midwest Beat reader’s poll of 2003 & 2005. Jamrose has sustained many changes throughout the years, but one thing has been consistent- the creation of high-quality music.
