 A talented situation? SUPERNAUT features some elite musicians that are committed to the highest standard of passion, magic, chemistry, and most importantly REAL ROCK! As a cover band, and not just another “Hair Band,” the members decided to play the material up to the standard that would pass any test set by themselves, and more importantly, the AUDIENCE!!! In it’s purest form, the love of rock music is what brought these four musicians together. The primary motive of SUPERNAUT is to give the audience what they want—TO HAVE A BLAST AND ROCK TO A KICK ASS BAND! Didn’t we all love a band that rocked harder and showed all the others what it meant to give the crowd a true show? The history of the individual members of this group show that each has had a journey of passion and commitment to honest musical excellence.<br> LEAD VOCALS: KYLE MICHAELS- He released his first recording with Ravage on the Shrapnel label and landed shows with Queensryche, Saxon and others. After being flown to London at the age of 21 he was hired to sing for Geezer Butler/Black Sabbath. After relocating to LA, Kyle formed Animal with members of WASP & Lizzy Borden. He also worked with Mandy Meyer of Asia, Tommy Keiser of Krokus, Armored Saint & Jon Oliva of Savatage. He released 3 recordings with MASI which did well in Europe and Japan. Leaving an imploding LA music scene, Kyle found himself back in Chicago. While working on a studio project, Kyle ran into someone he hadn’t seen since he was 16 years old... Dave Uhrich. GUITARS/VOCALS: DAVE UHRICH- Born and raised in Chicago, he has devoted his life to the guitar and was recently voted #31 on The All-time “100 Wildest Guitar Heroes” by Classic Rock magazine. He received a degree in music at The American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, and became a member of the faculty as well as other Illinois Colleges. Along with teaching, Dave spent many years as a clinician in nearly all 50 states as well as in England, Germany & Austria. Dave won the “Chicago’s Hottest Guitarists” competition 5 years in a row and has numerous endorsements including Ibanez Guitars & Laney Amps. He has toured/opened with Van Halen, KISS, Bon Jovi, Steve Morse, Dixie Dregs, Steve Vai, Peter Frampton, Robin Trower, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent, Tesla, REO Speedwagon, Survivor, .38 Special, and has played with Joe Walsh, Jerry Goodman, Dweezil Zappa, Kenny Aranoff, Buddy Miles, Will Lee & Max Weinberg. Dave has three critically acclaimed, internationally released solo cds, and has written music performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2005 he released the self-titled debut with Five Nickel High where it just so happens Supernaut found their bass player.<br> BASS/VOCALS: DAN BUCKLEY- He received his degree in music from the University of Wisconson-Parkside, teaching, playing trumpet? in local symphonies, orchestras, and the Chicago based jazz rock group REX. But the love of crushing metal still ran through his veins and he soon found himself a sought after bass player as well. After playing/recording with bands like Blue Steel, Blind Ambition, Dan joined C4 featuring Michael Angelo in 2001. In 2003 he joined Dave Uhrich in forming Five Nickel High, opening up for Saliva, Tantric, Krokus, Shinedown, Slaughter, Quiet Riot, and Seven Mary Three.<br> DRUMS/VOCALS: MICHAEL BRAGG- Getting his first drum set at age 12, it was all fun and games until he met drumming legend Louis Bellson. Hours of conversation, wisdom & advice sealed his fate. He studied music at Northern Illinois University and began playing with various groups. He has recorded and performed with Dustin Parker and First Circle. He was recognized by Spin magazine as one of the country’s Top Unsigned Bands. He is a 15 year alum of the Dekalb based group Mr. Meyers. Michael is also the drummer for the Dave Uhrich Band. Download the one sheet presskit |
